The Captain of the Ship
Dr. Achuthan Madhav who hails from Mysore is an internationally acclaimed educationist – administrator with over 35 years of rich and varied experience.
An M.A., M.Ed., Ph.D. (USA), he started his illustrious career in the prestigious Modern School, Delhi in the year 1975. Later, he served as Sr. Lecturer – Tech. Mathematics under UNESCO – Aided Programmes for 7 years at the Federal Ministries of Education in Lusaka (Zambia) and Lagos (Nigeria).
He has the reputation of being the Founder Principal of the renowned Army Public School in Noida. Later, he also served in the well-known Jabriya Indian School, Kuwait and the prestigious Indian School Muscat (ISM) under the aegis of the Embassy of India.
In the year 2000, Dr. Madhav had the privilege of becoming a Fulbright Scholar and had the academic assignment as Asst. Principal of Towers High, De Kalp County, Atlanta, Georgia (USA).
Dr. Madhav has written 66 Mathematics books on CBSE and NCERT National Curricula. He is also a Member of the Affiliation Committee of Schools, CBSE.
In recognition of his dedicated teaching service, Dr.Achuthan Madhav was awarded the most coveted National Award which he received from the President of India in 2010.
