Every concept is reinforced with a fun activity and application based questions are posed to students right from the primary level.
The academic year consists of two semesters. The students are evaluated on the basis of the continuous assessment programme, in which they are assessed on the basis of monthly reviews, as well as on parameters such as speaking skills, writing skills, listening skills, work habits, note book work, projects, application of concepts, etc. Non-scholastic skills such as Art & Craft, Music, Physical Education, Life-skills, attitudes and values, etc. are also holistically considered. In Grade V, the students are evaluated on the basis of the Continuous Assessment Programme, in which there are two formative assessments and one summative assessment in each semester.
Our approach to education is about making everyday learning experience delightful. The learning cycle is grounded on the simplistic yet extremely effective method of theme-based learning. Students are able to connect what they learn to how it affects their lives. With academic rigor comes a style of education that intertwines discovery and learning. Students are trained to continuously explore a lesson at different realms, inside and outside the classroom. Discovery is the buzzword, as our young scholars set forth on a journey of fun, creativity, and education; making it through breath-taking nature walks, fascinating field trips and intriguing sessions at the Math Lab.
we welcome them to an environment that will let them take in their surroundings, and soak up their world, and its rich mosaic of people, places and events.
Our students are now set to take on a more complex world. Drawing conclusions and joining dots, you’ll see them gaily hopping from one experience to another. Our learning model at this level is completely thorough in structure, and comprises experiential and holistic activity. The fear of exams and tests is non-existent at GAFL. Instead, regular and comprehensive assessments allow us to diagnose and remediate the learning gaps.
